AC AMANI WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM
Soccer is a way to inspire the youth and bring people together in a spirit of friendly competition and mutual respect. Sport can be a vital tool for peace, especially needed in a war torn land like THE CONGO!
WCA Congo started this initiative on the inspiration of volunteer Pamela Kabila
They have a committed trainer, practice in local spaces, playing matches in Goma stadium, starting to compete in the Congo soccer leagues.
‘Soccer for peace’ is the goal for AC Amani (Amani means ‘peace’)
