Now working with TAD, for a building to house 60 war orphans

TAD is an organisation in Goma, that won funding from the government Social Fund for Development. TAD works with other NGOs and Womens Associations that have developed projects for local people. They have a two year renewable contract with the government. They are responsible for monitoring 1000 war orphans in 6 districts of Kivu, also distributing cookers to destitute families and other projects. After inviting our representatives to their training, they have offered to provide the orphans we have with a daily budget for food and allowances for volunteers. This would depend on the WCA building or buying a facility where the children can be together, to grow in a safe, communal place. TAD will also provide a professional advisor to train our volunteers.
